The Casey House was designed in 1965 by Harrold A. Casey a recognised modern architect in Springfield. The Casey house, inprired by Japanese aesthetics, featured a zen garden entry, shoji doors, and terraced outdoor patios wrapping the home. Our task was to expand the footprint and maticulously remodel the interior while maintaining the architectural vision of the original. The project was of particular interest to Arkifex given the fact that Blaine's family was the third owners and lived in the house for 15 years.
