Cory Huffman - Associate Architect

“Architecture is about trying to make the world a little more like our dreams” - Bjarke Ingles

Growing up in Troy, Missouri, Cory was surrounded by a landscape that he thought lacked the elegance and aesthetic beauty of architecture. The ability to understand and appreciate architecture as an art was difficult to discover. But in the late teenage years of Cory’s life, he worked alongside skilled craftsmen who taught him the intricacies of construction. These early disciplines instilled an appreciation for the marriage of form and function. This was his first opening into architecture.

Now, after 4 years of studying architecture at Drury University, Cory’s ideologies revolve around the idea that architecture is an art form with the potential to enrich lives, strengthen communities, and shape a better world. He believes that architecture has the power to transform communities, enhance the quality of life, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. His dream is to contribute to the creation of buildings and spaces that inspire, engage, and bring joy to those who interact with them.
